It all started with the Custoza vineyards embedded in a unique post-glacial moraine landscape. The soil's parcels are vinified separately, along with a meticulous zonation process. Eventually, Monte del Frà mastered the art of blending and has become synonymous with Custoza worldwide.
The path to creating this long-living Garganega from Custoza was a passionating challenge that found fulfillment in 2006 thanks to an antique vineyard in Oliosi. We applied the taglio del tralcio, a technique where we cut the fruit root to concentrate the grapes' characteristics after they have reached maturity. The time in steel vats and the slow, low-temperature fermentation unveil a complex wine with notes of saffron and hydrocarbons on the finish-a luxurious wine that allows reinterpreting the style of Custoza.
